The Leaning Tower of Pisa (in Italian: Torre pendente di Pisa) or simply the Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa) is a worldfamous freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa. It is internationally known for its accidental tilt. The tower is situated behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in Pisa's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo) after the Cathedral and the Baptistry. It is possible to climb the top of the tower. Don't fall down!

Ticket for the Leaning Tower can be purchased online (between a maximum of 20 days and a minimum of 12 days prior to the date of the visit, subject to availability). Entrance tickets to the buildings and museums can be purchased also from the ticket offices on site. For safety reasons, children under the age of 8 are not permitted to enter the Tower.
